This work by Maria Lai comes from the collection of the lawyer Gonario Pinna parliamentary, writer and leading figure of Sardinian culture and a great friend of the painter, with whom he deepened his studies of phonics of the Barbarician language. Antonio Ballero's work featured in this auction (Lot No. 60) also comes from the Pinna collection.
