Aurora 88, mechanical pencil and fountain pen, 18k gold nib; ; black resin barrels and gold overlay caps, the fountain pen bearing the words "Aurora 88" and serial "160881571", gold nib. The Aurora 88 is a great writing classic, designed by the famous Marcello Nizzoli in 1947. This legendary cult pen of the 1950s is one of the most solid and successful pens built after the war. Fountain pen lenght 13.5 cm, pencil length 12 cm. Item condition grading: **** good. The fountain pen has not been tested, it seems in good working order but it could need minor overhauling and/or control before use.
