Маттиас Якоб Шлейден (нем. Matthias Jakob Schleiden; 5 апреля 1804, Гамбург — 23 июня 1881, Франкфурт-на-Майне) — немецкий биолог (ботаник) и общественный деятель. Матиас Шлейден был немецким ботаником и соучредителем теории клеток вместе с Теодором Шванном и Рудольфом Вирховым.
