Rabbi Ahron Yosef Bakst (ca.1866-1942), studied at the Yeshivos of Volozhin, Slabodka and Kelm. Rabbi of Yisogola, Semiatitz, Shadova, Komza, Suvalk and Shavli. A prominent and widely respected Torah leader in pre-WWII Lithuania and founder of Agudas Yisroel and member of the Moetzes Gedolei Hatorah. Author of Tosefos Aharon and Lev Aharon.
