STEENGRACHT VON MOYLAND GUSTAV ADOLF: (1902-1969) German diplomat and politician who served as Nazi Germany's Secretary of State at the Foreign Office 1943-45 as an assistant to Joachim von Ribbentrop. A.L.S., Adolf, on one side of an official Prisoner of War postcard, n.p. (Nuremberg), 24th September 1945, to 'My dear little wife', in German. Writing in bold pencil, Steengracht von Moyland states, in full, 'My thoughts have been particularly often and warmly with you. I hope you are well and cheerful. I know absolutely nothing about our house, Moyland is destroyed. I am alright. All love and good wishes'. About EX
