carved elephant ivory (Elephas maximus Linnaeus, 1758 or Loxodonta africana Blumenbach, 1797) “Corpus Christi” on an ebony wood (Dalbergia spp) cross. Sculpture dimensions 21.5 x 14.8 cm. Total dimensions 46.8 x 26.5 cm. Total weight 526 gr. Item condition grading: **** good. Accompanied by Ce.S.Ar. Centro Studi Archeometrici certificate of antiquity (pre-1947).
