Shlomo Zippman, born in Lithuania in 1905, immigrated to Israel in 1912, returned to Russia in 1914 and returned to Israel in 1921. He was an important Zionist activist, one of the founders of Ir Ganim (Ramat Gan), a member of Kibbutz Merhavia, Mond and Ramat Gan. Later, he held other public positions. He was a writer and painter and held a number of exhibitions over the years of his works.
