Large inkstand in Brazilian rosewood and Portuguese silver, early 20th century.with two inkwells in the form of a closed helm with a feather beam. Base cut out of Brazilian rosewood, decorated with a silver frieze, with pen holder in the shape of crossed spears on shield. Silver soul inkwells. With Oporto assay mark (Javali II), of 833 thousandths, and Almeida Miranda & Filho maker's mark (1909-1921). Cover hinges with restorations, one broken and missing. Scratches, signs of use and defects. Comp. approx.: 35 cm.
