Tinteiro em prata portuguesa, séc. XIX, P.1636g.
Large Portuguese silver inkwell, 19th century, with inkwell, sandbox, feather holder, bell, box of wafers and two candlesticks. Rectangular base with scalloped edge and rim decorated with floral scrolls and flowers, with articulated central handle, resting on four legs. Bell with handle in the shape of a warrior with a Portuguese shield. With contrast from Lisbon (L-46), in use from c. 1870 to c.1879, and VAD maker's mark (P-613.0) attributable to Vitor Ângelo Diniz, cited between 1825 and 1857. Defects, restorations and scratches.
