CARNERA PRIMO: (1906-1967) Italian boxer, World Heavyweight Champion 1933-34. Vintage signed sepia 8 x 10 photograph of Carnera standing in a full-length boxing stance opposite another, much smaller boxer, Jean Bovieau (?). A printed caption to the lower border suggests that the promotional image was released for a Broadway production entitled The Big Parade, directed by Leon See and Bill Duffy. Signed by Carnera in fountain pen ink with his name alone to the image, and also signed by his opponent. Scarce. Some minor rust stains to the corners and edges and some light surface creases and age wear, G
