José I, King of Portugal (1750-1777), carved Brazilian rosewood, scalloped tops, two drawers and two simulated drawers, curved legs, game of cards/Backgammon/tops with inlaid ivory band “Shell motifs”; backgammon/chess top with kingwood band, top centre with ebony and thornbush “Houses”, ivory fillets and inlays “Cartouches”, tea top with three lifting tops, one of them swivel with scalloped skirts, Portuguese, small restoration on the hinges, faults and defects, signs of use, three non-original tops of the tea table top, and the central one had the mirror on the back, non-original bottom of the table and most of the bottoms of the two drawers, non-original mounts, Dim. - 73 x 103 x 44 cm
