Collection of "Shanah Tovah" Greeting Cards – JNF – Palestine, Second Half of the 20th Century
24 "Shanah Tovah" greeting cards published by the Jewish National Fund. Israel and the USA, the second half of the 20th century (several items are earlier).
In the collection: * Two cards calling to "Give your Yom Kippur gift to the Jewish National Fund" (English and Yiddish). USA. * Sketch for a "Shanah Tovah" greeting card for 1954, with an illustration of David's Tower, and the card that was printed according to the sketch * Shanah Tovah greeting cards from the 1950s and 960s, decorated with traditional images alongside military images and sights from the settlements, among them soldiers blowing the Shofar, farmers plowing a field, crops, and more. * Cards for friends of the JNF in Austria and Britain to which were added pressed leaves and flowers from the forests of the JNF. * And more.
8x10.5 to 17.5x38cm. Good overall condition.
