Letter by the Sanz-Klausenburg Rebbe
Letter by Rebbe Yekutiel Yehuda Halberstam, signed in his handwriting: "With esteem… Yekutiel Yehuda". Brooklyn, NY, 1957.
Sent to rabbis of Safed and the Upper Galilee regarding the construction of a mikveh in their vicinity, "…and my heart rejoiced greatly from the good tidings of the dissemination of holiness and purity in our Holy Land, especially in the city of kabbalists, the holy Safed, that a mikveh is being constructed with all the stringencies for the G-d-fearing…". At the end of the letter, he writes of his impending aliya to Eretz Israel.
Official stationery, approx. 28 cm. Written by his scribe with the exception of the two concluding lines and the rebbe's signature. Fair condition. Wear with open tear to margin. Torn filing holes.
