Tikun Shovevim - Three Books Venice Printing
Tikun Shovevim, for those who are accustomed to fasting during the days of Shovevim, (with Mincha and the Torah reading for fasts - VaYachel). "Arranged by the G-dly Mekubal Rabbi Moshe Zakut who leads sinners on the right path". * Venice, 1739 - two different editions. * Venice, 1741, with the addition of new poems.
The days of Shovevim are Mondays and Thursdays during the winter when the Parshiot of Shovevim are read (Shemot, Va'era, Bo, Beshalach, Yitro and Mishpatim). According to kabbala, these days are especially endowed for correcting sins. Various communities are accustomed to fasting, repenting and saying special selichot during these days.
