A letter by Rabbi Yehuda Leib Hillman, to his brother and son. Jerusalem, Cheshvan 1895. A letter of thanks and blessing on receiving money, many blessings for family celebrations. The letter is written on stationery designated for New Year wishes in golden print and illustrations of the holy sites: the grave of Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai and the Tomb of Rachel.
Rabbi Yehuda Leib (son of R' Moshe) Hillman of Ponovezh immigrated to Jerusalem in 1876, where he printed his book on 613 Mitzvot in 1906 which had a previous edition by the name of "Luchot Ha'Edut".
22.5 cm. Good-fair condition, creases, restored tear with omission on fold at bottom of leaf.
