Yehuda Leib Fishman Maimon, printed letter to David Ben-Gurion. Jerusalem, 1932.
From the depth of his heart and with much pain Fishman, chairman of "Ha-Mizrachi" protests against the intentions of Ben-Gurion as head of the National Council, to decrease the Shabat Observance.
On four pages printed on a type-writer, Fishman tries to appeal to Ben-Gurion's feelings and mind, in order for him to regress from what he said in the National Council.
Yehuda Leib Fishman Maimon (1875-1962), rabbi, one of the founders of "Ha-Mizrachi" movement, and head of the movement for many years. One of the signees of the Decleration of Independence, member of the first government. A few handwritten lines appear in the end of the letter, signed twice.
4 leaves printed on one side, 28 cm. Good condition, filing-holes and office-pins-foxing-stains. Stains.
