Ten Letters from the Admor of Helmetz
Collection of letters from Admor Rabbi Chananya Yom Tov Lipa Deutsch ABD of Helmetz, Cleveland-Brooklyn, 1951-1982. Most letters were sent to Rabbi Zvi Ha-Cohen Gross, some are Shana Tova greetings and blessings for various events.
The Holy Gaon Rabbi Chananya Yom Tov Lipa Deutsch (1905-c.1991) of the eldest Admors in the USA. Learned by the"Levushei Mordechai" during his youth. Served as rabbi of several Jewish Hungarian communities. Lived in Cleveland and Brooklyn after the Holocaust. Invested a lot of effort with his relative the Admor of Satmar to bring USA and worldwide Mikvaot up to an acceptable standard of Kashrut. Corresponded with rabbis worldwide. Author of the"Taharat Yom Tov" 20 vol.
