Notes: Automata, also known as automaton, had musical and mechanic movements, usually represented young dolls, animals, Gypsies and fortune tellers, but there was also a preference for the grotesque, such as demons, sorcerers, Snake charmers and human-faced animals. They were generally very expensive and were not considered children's toys in the true sense of the word, although they always had them in their memory since many of these automata were used in windows of famous shops at Christmas and to advertise certain Products.
