BAROQUE STYLE DECORATIVE FIREPLACE (20th century), SIGNED - An impressive and sumptuous large-scale decorative fireplace, executed in an ornamental classical style that blends the grandeur of the Empire style with the richness of the Neo-Baroque. It is a visually striking piece, ideal for high-end interior design projects (such as palaces and hotels), grand reception halls, or collections of prestigious artworks. Upper Section: Features a prominent, fully sculpted group evoking classical deities, depicting two reclining Greek mythological figures (Poseidon wielding his trident and his wife, Amphitrite). Sides: The structure is supported by two muscular atlantes emerging from cornucopias and foliate elements laden with clusters of gilded grapes, symbolizing abundance. Central Frieze: Decorated with an elaborate central coat of arms or heraldic medallion, flanked by scrolls and details in gilt carving and dark polychromy that contrast with the structure's light-colored background.
