Important and Luxurious Baroque-Style Cabinet – 19th/20th Century - A magnificent cabinet of palatial stature, crafted entirely from exceptionally rare materials. The piece is organized into two seamlessly integrated sections: The Upper Section (Cabinet Body): Centered by a sumptuous display niche emulating a High Baroque architectural façade, flanked by columns and featuring a door with a functional lock (the interior conceals three secondary drawers). The front displays a symmetrical arrangement of 13 drawers—including 8 visible, lockable ones and 2 secret drawers (”secrets”) ingeniously concealed within the structure. The entire surface is enriched with intricate bone inlay, featuring detailed, masterfully executed hunting scenes framed by deep-toned, luminous tortoiseshell panels and chased bronze mounts. The Stand (Lower Section): A robust support table featuring two large front drawers adorned with decorative cast and chased bronze handles. It rests on four imposing, boldly turned legs, united by a spectacular network of wrought-iron stretchers that are cut and artistically crafted. Dimensions: 170 x 109 x 41 cm. Excellent condition.
