"Redeem the Land" – Poster Issued by the Jewish National Fund
"Redeem the land through the Jewish National Fund" (Hebrew), poster issued by the JNF. Tel-Aviv: "Aharon advertising", [second half of the 1930s or early 1940s]. [Design: Franz Kraus?].
Color illustration of the Seven Species on the backdrop of a plowed field. On bottom, a quote by Menachem Ussishkin and a biblical quote: "A land of wheat, and barley, and vines, and fig trees, and pomegranates; a land of olive oil and honey" (Deuteronomy 8:8).
32X45.5 cm. Good condition. Fold lines and creases. Small tears (mostly along edges and fold lines), some of them reinforced with tape.
