Holocaust Victims Ash Memento Olive Tree Slice Forest of the Martyrs KAKAL Bnei Brith Jerusalem Gift 1958-1959
the Forest of Martyrs was planted as a memorial for the victims of the Holocaust: the six million trees planted there serve as evergreen Neshama candles, in memory of the six million Jews who perished at the Holocaust. The forest, planted with the donation of the organization "Bnei Brith", strecthes from east to the Sha'ar Haga-Beit Shemesh road and from north to Eshtaol-Tzova intersection.
The Forest of the martyrs has the Bnei Brith Cave, serving as a place of commemoration for the Holocaust victims in official ceremonies.
