Byalynitsky-Birulya Witold Kaetanovich (1872, the Mogilev Region – 1957, Moscow).
Full member of the Academy of Arts of the USSR. People’s Artist of the RSFSR and the BSSR. Honorary Member of the Academy of Sciences of the BSSR. In 1897 he graduated from the Moscow School of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture under S.A. Korovin and I.M. Prianishnikov. Member of the Partnership of Itinerant Artistic Exhibitions since 1904. In 1908 he was habilitated as Academician in Painting. Master of lyrical landscapes. Reiterated prizewinner of international exhibitions (Munich in 1909, Barcelona in 1912, etc.). In 1917 he was one of the founders of the Izograf association. His works are kept in the Tretyakov State Gallery, the State Artistic Museum of Belarus in Minsk and other museums.
