Lavrukhin Yury Nikolaevich (1924 - 2016)
Graphic artist, Honored Artist of Russia, member of the Union of Artists of Russia. In 1951 he graduated from the Leningrad Art and Graphic Pedagogical School, and in 1957 he graduated from the Graphic Department of INZSA named after I.E. Repin Academy of Arts of the USSR. Since 1953, actively collaborated for 40 years with the publishing house "Children's Literature". Over the years, he illustrated and designed about 50 books (A. Vlasov, A. Mlodik "Mandate", "Army of Wagtails"; L. Radishchev "Day One", "For Life", "Two Days"; V. Lebedev " He was called by Hippocrates "," Tales "," Morning of Muscovy ", etc.). The artist's illustrations were awarded with diplomas of the International, All-Union and All-Russian book art contests. In 1982, he was awarded a diploma of the Union of Artists of the USSR for great achievements in the development of fine art and active social activities. The artist's works are in the All-Union Museum of A.S. Pushkin, the State Central Historical Museum (Moscow), other museums, as well as in private collections in Russia and abroad.
