Modorov Nickolay Nickolaevich (1927, Vladimir Region - 1989, Vladimir).
In 1951 graduated from Mstera art school. Studied at Leningrad Higher College of Arts and Crafts named after V.I. Muhina. A member of Commonwealth of Artists since 1965. One of the founders of the School of landscape painting in Vladimir. A participant of exhibitions in Moscow (1964, 1967), Smolensk (1969), Ivanovo (1974), Ryazan (1980), Kostroma (1985); republican exhibitions “Soviet Russia” in Moscow (1960, 1964, 1967, 1970, 1975, 1980, 1985). The works are kept in the State Tretyakov Gallery, in Russian and foreign museums, in private collections of Russia, Italy, France, Germany, Japan; in corporate collections (Mehzregiongaz, former Incombank collection).
