English tall case clock, chinoiserie decoration, 18th century - Carved and polychromed wood with chinoiserie decoration. It has scenes on each of the panels. Metal dial with Roman numerals reading: 'Daniel Torin, London. No. 3226'. On the inside is a piece of paper with the date of manufacture: ”Sept. 1754”. With faults. The mechanism and pendulums are preserved. Not checked for function. Height: 271.50 cm; Depth: 25 cm; Width: 55.50 cm
