Porcelain vase, blue and white, with Qianlong mark - An oval, short-necked, bottle-shaped porcelain vase decorated in underglaze blue enamel. The entire body is occupied by a depiction of two dragons facing each other, chasing a flaming pearl amid clouds and fire. It stands upright without a foot and has a wave border around the base. With Qianlong mark ”大清乾隆年制” on the base. Height: 16.50 cm; Mouth diameter: 3.90 cm; Base diameter: 4.30 cm Provenance: Private collection, Glückstern family. Acquired before 1970.
