Yellow jade pendant ”Liu he tong chun”, Qianlong period - A Hetian jade carving 黃玉 (Huáng yù) in the form of an oblong medal with the front side in relief and the reverse side rounded. It shows a deer (lu) and a crane (he) as auspicious symbols ”六合同春” (Liù hé tóng chūn) of spring, using their names as homophones. In the spring everyone is prosperous, fortunate and therefore have longevity and wealth.
