Sculpture of ”Guanyin” in bronze, Ming dynasty - Made in bronze with a layer of polychrome lacquer and gilding. The figure shows Bodhisattva Guanyin, dressed in a ceremonial robe and adorned with jewels. On her head is an elaborate crown and a high headdress fastened in a bun. She is seated in ”dhyanasana” posture, with a serene face, while holding a stem in her left hand and a bowl or cup in her right.  Size: 42,5 x 25 x 23 cm; Total weight: 11,7 kg.
