Jade lion seal, Western Han Dynasty - A square-shaped white jade seal with a figure of a lion carved on the top. On the base is an engraved seal ”袁平” (Yuán píng). In good condition, with patina. The blue pigmentation seen among the composition of the jade has been caused by being in contact with other objects, composed of metals, for a long period of time.  Size: 2.2 x 1.9 x 1.8 cm; Weight: 14 g
