Chinese painting ”Portrait of a Buddhist”, Qing dynasty - Pigments on silk. It represents the effigy of a Buddhist monk, placed frontally, dressed in robe and cap, while holding a beaded necklace. On the upper right side there is a text in ”manchu” script ending in two seals. There are also two other collector's stamps on the opposite side. The cloth shows ageing and is in a gilt wood frame of western origin.  Provenance: Private collection, France. Painting on paper Size: 48.5 x 38 cm; Size with frame: 65.3 x 54.3 cm
