Carved Shoushan stone ‘Fishermen’, early 20th century - A beautiful orange-coloured Shoushan stone with a triangular shape and rounded edges. It is decorated with a continuous scene in fine relief, showing on the reverse a traditional Chinese pagoda and on the obverse an old couple fishing on the bank of a river by a large rock with long wooden poles. It shows an incised and embossed seal ‘友竹’. Size: 6.4 x 2.7 x 5.8 cm Weight: 116 g
