Carved jadeite pendant ‘Monkey’, Qing dynasty - A light-coloured two-tone jadeite with intense green spots. It has an elongated trapezoidal shape, with rounded edges, and shows, on the front face, a scene in relief, where a small monkey with a smiling expression climbs on a sloping and thick bamboo branch, holding a sceptre in his left hand. The reverse is incised with the image of an elongated and ferocious archaic dragon.  Size: 5.8 x 3.2 x 1.8 cm Weight: 47.5 g
