Glazed ware vase ‘Lotuses’, Song dynasty - A modelled ceramic vase with a slender, rounded body, a narrow neck and a small mouth with a turned rim. Decorated on the exterior with a pattern of lotus flowers, scrolls and leaves, executed in brown glaze on a cream-coloured ground. Jizhou Kiln, Song dynasty (960-1279) or later.  Height: 22 cm; Mouth diameter: 6 cm; Base diameter: 8.5 cm
