Necklace with a Dzi bead and Nanhong agate beads, Liao Dynasty - A devotional necklace comprising a central fusiform Dzi bead made of brown-toned agate with distinct wavy bands and a concentric white eye. It is flanked by two spherical beads of a deep red colour and finished at either end of the sliding cord with two turquoise beads. Liao Dynasty (916–1125) or later.
