Shoushan stone seal ‘Dragons with a Pearl’, Qing Dynasty - A seal carved from black Shoushan stone with a satin finish. The upper knob depicts two archaic dragons intertwined in high relief, with scaly bodies and open jaws guarding a large central pearl. The square base bears an archaic inscription in sigillate characters. Qing Dynasty (1644–1912) or later. Size: 7.7 x 4.8 x 4.9 cm Weight: 380 g Provenance: Private French collection.
