Spinach-green jade seal, ‘Double Dragon’, Qing Dynasty - An imperial seal carved from a block of spinach-green jade with natural dark and reddish veins. The handle depicts two dragons joined back-to-back, with meticulously defined scales, open jaws and a central perforation. The four sides of the base bear long poetic texts finely engraved, complete with seal impressions. It is preserved on its stepped plinth, lined with brocade silk featuring polychrome floral motifs. Qing Dynasty (1644–1912) or later. Size: 14 x 13 x 13 cm Weight: 4800 g
