‘Porcelain doll’ Europe, c. 1895–1915 - A doll with a bisque head, marked ‘6/0’ on the nape of the neck. It has fixed glass eyes, brush-painted eyebrows and an open mouth with visible teeth. The body is made of papier-mâché and composite material. It retains its wig over a bonnet and is dressed in a period gown of pink gauze. Height: 34 cm
