”Madonna and Child”. Limestone sculpture with polychrome residue. Loire Valley, France. Late 15th – early 16th century. - The inscription on the edging of Mary’s cloak appears to read ”N Damme de Bonne” as well as the date ”L'AN MIL .. CC XIX”, possibly 1519. The upper part of the Child is missing. Height: 108 cm.
