Amalric Walter (1870-1959) and Henri Bergé (1870-1937). Daum. Nancy. France. Art Deco. Circa 1920. - Glass paste vide-poche, with a lobster motif in relief. Signed Walter Nancy and Bergé. 4 x 15 x 12,5 cm. Both Walter, who introduced the pâte de verre technique, and Bergé, together with Jacques Gruber, joined the Daum studio from 1891, giving the firm a great boost. From that date, Daum participated in all the Expositions Universelles, garnering many awards. They even won the ”Gran Prix” at the Paris Exposition Universelle in 1900.
