Imposing gold and carnelian ring. Byzantine art. 12th – 13th century. - Circular cameo depicting Saint Michael accompanied by the inscription ”El Micha”. It is in an excellent state of preservation. The mount is antique but may be posterior. 2,3 x 2,1 cm.
