Colonial School. Mexico. Late 18th century. -   ”Our Lady of Guadalupe”  ”Enconchado”. Oil and mother-of peral inlay on panel. Executed on one single carved piece of wood, which frames the shell inlay with original and interesting carving and silvering work which appear to represent be the powers of the Virgin Mary. On the back there is a painted image of the Immaculate Conception.   Shell inlay measurements: 54,5 x 17 cm. Total measurements: 69 x 36,5 cm.
