Tel-Litvinsky - The agricultural colony (moshava), was founded by the Litvinsky brothers (Emil Litvinsky and Moshe (Maurice) Litvinsky), with the financial assistance of Baron Felix de Menashe, on family lands, and named after their father, Yaakov Elchanan, one of the founders of Tel Aviv. The colony was planned by Richard Kaufman, to be a garden city on about 1700 dunam (¼ of an acre), divided into 2000 plots, Until 1936 only 24 families actively lived there, on one street, most of them German immigrants. At the time of its establishment, the small settlement was isolated and surrounded by Arab and Bedouin settlements that set it on fire during the Great Arab Revolt.
Part of the moshav area is currently included in the city of Ramat Gan and on another part, Tel Hashomer Hospital was built.
