Bavarian School of the 17th century, Virgin Praying in wooden relief, dimensions: 106 x 90 x 22 cm
Carved and polychrome wooden relief depicting the praying Virgin. The piece stands out for the fineness of the carving of the cloak and the delicate polychrome work, which retains much of its original state. This relief is a clear example of Bavarian Baroque art of the 17th century, characterized by its intense devotion and the technical quality in the representation of religious figures. Perfectly preserved.
