A massive and heavy chess board which was used for the enjoyment of the wounded SS officers in the LAZARETT HOSPITAL, the tools are carved from wood by hand and the chess board is made of heavy metal. Dimensions (the board): 38x38 cm. Many signatures on the box carrying the game soldiers + the back of the chess board: "LAZARETT", "SS", "1943".
