Hand written editing by the great Gaon Rabbi David Deutch from great Rabanim of Hungary, written on series of his sefer 'Ohel David' on Tractates Pesachim, Succah, Chagiga, and Yuma. Vienna 1820

Sefer 'Ohel David', on Tractates Pesachim, Succah, Chagiga and Yuma. Authored by the great Gaon Rabbi David Deutch from great gaonim of Hungary. Vienna 1820. (This edition is a continuation of the sefer that was published a year before.) With many editing on the margins of the pages personally written by the holy author Rabbi David Deutch. Part is written in Rashi script.


The Gaon Rabbi David Deutch (1755-1831), from great Rabbanim of Hungary renowned all over the world for his exceptional holiness. Rosh Yeshiva, Rav of Jemnice, Rav and abd of Frauenkirchen, Rav of Serdehely, and from 1810 served as Rav in Nove Mesto ("New Town"). Was a revered disciple of the Moron Chasam Sofer who expressed on him  great admiration. The Chasam Sofer once saw him sleeping on the floor and commanded fasting for this from great anguish. Was also a disciple of the Mahram Berabi and close disciple of the Moron Noda BeYehuda, who wrote to him dozens of responses in his famous sefer. His innovations were published in the series of sefarim 'Ohel David' (1719-1867) and in additional sefarim.
