A copy that had belonged to Geonim Gedolei Hador! Kos HaYeshu'os. First edition, Frankfurt am Main 1711. Authored by Rabbeinu the Gaon Rabbi Shmuel Hacohen Schotten. The copy of the holy Gaon Rabbi Yehuda Segal Rosner of Sekelhid, the Gaon Rabbi Yehoshua Folk of Poltishen and additional great rabbis.
Sefer Kos HaYeshu'aos on Seder Nezikin, which is the first section of Chidushei Mharsheishoch on the following seven tractates: three Bavos, Sanhedrin, Makos, Shvu'os and Avodah Zarah. Johan Kelner Press, Frankfurt am Main [1711]. First edition.
Appearing on the copy are stamps of renowned Geonim and Tzaddikim, headed by the holy Gaon Rabbi Yehuda Segal Rosner Av Beis Din of Sekelhid and the vicinity, who headed one of the large yeshivas in the Torah world. Many students of the yeshiva signed this copy, noting the year during which they had studied at the holy yeshiva, including some whose offspring survived the terrible war and some who are the heads of important rabbinic families.

Habachur Moshe Yeda Berkowitz, who studied in 1934. He is the father of the pedigreed Berkowitz family of Borough Park, whose descendant Rabbi Abraham Pinchas Berkowitz was the famed editor of religious books.

[1835-1915] author of Nehorin DeOrayta, Mazkeres Moshe ViYerushalayim, Oniya Belev Yam, Ma'ayanei HaYeshuah, Pli'os Chochma, Melon Orchim and Toras Adam, which were approbated by Tzaddikim and Gedolei Hador and one of the important rabbis of Romania.
And the stamp of Rabbi Moshe Klein Shoches and Bodek and Rav in Satmar. Additional signatures and stamps of Chaim Kahana and Yitzchak Segal Fines.
Rabbi Shmuel ben Rabbi Yosef Josefow Hacohen Schotten (1644-1719) the grandfather of Maran the Chasam Sofer who treated him with sacred reverence. His renowned grandchildren also included the Levin family of Cohanim from Poland, headed by the holy Rav Rabbi Chanoch Henich Hacohen of Alexander. Was one of the greatest rabbis of Ashkenaz in his generation, Rav and head of the Beis Midrash (the Kloiz) in Frankfurt am Main and the Rav of the Grand Duchy of Hesse-Darmstadt in west Germany. Author of Sefer 'Kos HaYeshu'os' on Seder Nezikin. His glosses on tractates Nedarim, Nazir and Bava Batra were printed in the Frankfurt (1720-1722) edition of the Shas. His innovations on other tractates were not published.
[2], 159 leaves, 31 cm. The title page is restored with pieces of paper and tape, not affecting the text. Restoration tp several additional leaves, not considerably affecting the text. Aging stains. Original binding, partly old. Good-very good condition.
