Copy of the Holy Gaon the Lev HaIvri

Sefer Netivot Hashalom. First edition, Svolk, 1858. Copy with the handwritten signature of the holy Gaon Rabbi Akiva Yosef Schlesinger, author of Lev HaIvri. 


Sefer Netivot Hashalom, containing required Halachos from Shulchan Aruch Even HaEzer and Choshen Mishpat with Netiv Yam, Derech Teshuvah and Derech Tevunot. By Rabbi Moshe Nechemya Kahanov, the Rav of Chaslovitch. 

On the first title page, the round stamp of Rabbi Akiva Yosef and the stamp of his son the Gaon Rav Rabbi Shimon Schlesinger. On the second title page, the handwritten signature of Rabbi Akiva Yosef. 


The renowned holy Gaon Rabbi Akiva Yosef Schlesinger author of the Lev HaIvri [1837-1922] a disciple of his father Rabbi Yechiel who was a disciple of the Chasam Sofer and the Ketav Sofer, the Maharam Schick and the Machaneh Chaim. The son-in-law of the Holy Gaon Rabbi Hillel Lichtenstein of Kalameu. Immigrated to the Land of Israel and acted for its pure settlement. Was renowned for his unique Psakim on several matters, Psakim that led to a heated polemic for several years.


[6], 1-72 leaves. Stains. Water stains and signs of fungus. Original binding, slightly blemished. Good condition.
