Shut Habach (Hayeshanot) - Frankfurt, 1697 - first edition - variant - glosses in Ashkenazic script - interesting bibliographical comment
This edition of the book had two types of title pages with two types of illustrations. This title page was printed with a floral border and above it two cherubs.
Appearing on the leaves of the book are more than ten glosses. One of them is an interesting bibliographical comment. Printed in Simanim 134-135 are the responses of the author of Sefer Me'irat Enayim - Rabbi Yehoshua Folk Katz - to the Bach. Printed by mistake in this edition, at the end of the Simanim, is the signature "Yoel" by the bach. About this, the writer notes that this is a mistake and the signature of the author of Sefer Me'irat Enayim - "Folk" should have been printed instead (indeed, in the Ostroh 1834, the correct signatures were printed).
[6], 106 leaves. 30 cm. Good condition. Dampness stains and wear. The first leaves are partly detached.
