Masot Hayam by Moharan of Breslov, First Edition, Josefow-Slavuta, 1846

Sefer Masot Hayam by Rabbi Nachman of Breslov, first edition. Printed in Josefow at the printery that was previously in Slavuta, published by Rabbi Chanina Lipa Shapiro, the grandson of the Rav of Slavuta, 1846. Incomplete.

The book contains Hanhagos of Rabbi Nachman of Breslov and the story of his trip to Eretz Yisroel via the sea. By his disciple the holy Rav Rabbi Nosson.

On the title page, the word 'מסלאוויטא'  (from Slavuta) was emphasized, attributing the Josefow Printery to the pedigreed printery of the Shapiro family.

The book is a kind of biography and tales written on Moharan, a kind of abbreviation of the stories that were eventually written in Shivchei Haran. 30 pp. 15.5 cm. Good condition. Some stains. Erased notation on the title page. New leather binding.

Incomplete copy. Leaves 11-12 are missing. New elegant leather binding. Foreign ownership stamp on the first leaf. Ownership notation from the period on the last leaf. Aging and water stains. Slight wear. Good condition.
